Most current challenges of the interpreting profession call for unique solutions in remote interpreting settings; including advocacy, language access, rates, work hours, communication, and technology issues. A remote interpreter could easily feel discontent with their work environment and perceived value from different stakeholders in the interpreting profession. On this page, we want to increase professional morale by inspiring remote interpreters to advocate for themselves, LEP persons, and the overall advancement of the profession.
